Getting a minute to post some pics of the latest finished yarn-
from one of Mandie's earlier rovings- called "Forever Young 2"-
Then here is the singles as viewed on my turkish spindle centre pull ball from underneath ( the tan/brown in the middle is the leader yarn, so ignore that please?! )-
What a difference the plying thread can make... I used a commercial mohair yarn in blue- so this is a two ply with a 6-7 WPI thickness.:) I am not a big blue fan- but let me tell you- this is one of my favourite yarns I have made! It is so soft and colourful . This one has real potential. :)

My next post is one that I can tell you in advance made me smile lots and lots while plying it! But for now I need to go- we are going to the beach for an hour or two!

I love those colours!
I also like it plied with the black yarn (looks black to me on my monitor). Very stylish.
I might use that idea sometime.
